One of my recent wedding couples live in Madrid, Spain – a really nice relaxed chilled out pair, they got in touch after finding me on the internet and liked my reportage documentary wedding photography style.
I instantly liked the couple, even if it was only a few chats through Skype.
I had to do all the recce work myself, which consisted of a visit to Buckland Tout-Saints, then a drive to a nearby beach, where they wanted a few pictures taken. I chose Bantham Beach, about twenty minutes drive from the wedding venue.
That day, we seemed to do two wedding portrait photographs of them, around the venue itself was good enough, flowing corn fields, it seemed perfect, but then to go on to Bantham beach after the wedding dinner was a huge bonus, for everyone involved, certainly myself and my second shooter Cara enjoyed the whole day as much.
The weather was great, the sunset right on queue, even the lifeboat came in ashore randomly.
This is a perfect example of what you put in to your wedding photography, you get out, the groom was a keen photographer, and they were both after some cool pictures.
The bridal prep was fun too, in Spain, there is no such thing as bridesmaids, so the bridesmaids on the day were super excited to say the least 🙂
Great day, a top wedding venue, only 38 guests to the day, which was again, perfect.
Please get in touch if you are interested in wedding photography.
