I won’t lie to you, this blog is huge, I tried to cut it back, but to have a review of the last 12 months I found hard to contain in 20 odd pictures, and I tried to use a couple from each wedding shot in 2014, so here we are, a massive blog, if you get to the end, nice work!
It has been the best ever year, thanks to all the people I met along the way, made a few good friends too, it’s been fun, what it’s supposed to be, also emotional, tears at altars and speeches, but I have especially enjoyed all year the first moment the dad sees his daughter, in her wedding dress, you never really know how this one will go, but more than not they make for fab pictures.
I have had second shooters pretty much at every wedding also, so thanks to Cara, Zac and my wife, Sarah, who are all very decent shooters, and it’s been a giggle spending all day with them.
My style is reportage, in a documentary style, capturing those moments that people will look back on, real moments, I also like to give my couples some cool pictures of themselves, nothing formal, just stepping away from the wedding party for quarter an hour or so, some natural photos of just them both, fitting in with the rest of the images and style I shoot, so when they receive the final edit of their wedding, they should be happy with their selection. As long as I can walk away from every wedding happy that I have reached their expectations, and have a good collection of pictures they can hang on walls around their home.
So we can be there from bridal/groom prep up until the first dance, but then I can offer more if you wish, as there are a few of my prop box I also offer in amongst this blog, like a photo booth type thing, which is always fun, but can get a tad messy as you can imagine as the evening kicks on! 🙂
Thanks for your time and really hope you take a look below, happy new year dudes and see you on the other side. 🙂
